Rear quarter - trim clips

Hello,

I am in the process of installing the rear quarter trim on a ‘55 w/D3 trim. It’s the long trim piece that goes from the medallion, back and around to the trim on the tailgate. I’m looking for those clips.

The manual calls for 8-#305766 and 6-#305744. I have checked with S.I. and others and am coming up empty.

Anyone have a source for them or know of a reasonable substitute?

Try your local Auto Body Paint Store. Take the trim pieces with you and you should be able to find something that will work. No one is going to see them so should not be a problem.

Have always been able to find something to get trim on. Even for weird limited edition stuff.
