1/2 the asking price?? COOL!!! Since you were ready to put the asking price into it, I'd say you can spend $1200 and still have a comfortable bank account while enjoying a sweet ride that definitely gets the looks.

I'd change the wheels and tires though... 8)

No, no....I put that much in the mail as good faith. When he drops the car off, I gotta give him the rest.

At first he said he only had a few people call and that they were a bunch of nuts??! Even with the "nuts" calling, he still wanted the $2500.....even though the add said something about..."OBO"

When we talked a week or so later, he said he'd had a lot of calls and wanted to be sure I wanted it. GET A CHECK IN THE MAIL.
I'll check with him tomorrow (Fri.) to verify that he received it.

Looks like a 54 dash and tailights. Maybe just put a 55 front fender clip on.

it's got the 55 trim down the side and those look like 53 tail lights to me :?:

The dash also looks like a 55.
