Mike;

Seems as if no one has anything to talk about. No new vehicles, no questions, no parts for sale, no parts wanted, no advice, nothing, Nada.

Maybe everyone has been waiting for your return ? Are you going to have enough time to work on anything ? That is before your on the road again ?

Me, I'm trying to get ready for Cruisin' for a Cure. Esther, my wife, and I work this charity Event every year. This is number 11. It's held at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, CA on Saturday the 25Th of September this year. It's just a small 1 day Event, we only get 3,500 or more vehicles plus those thousands of people that just show up to see all the vehicles. We raise a bunch of money to search for a cure for Prostate Cancer. Always looking to recruit a new volunteer if anyone wants to get in free and doesn't mind working a few hours ? The Show is pretty cool since all you really need to do is find a nice shady spot and watch the cars & trucks roll by. There's a mile and 1/2 or more to cruise around the inside of the Fairgrounds. Of course not all the vehicles cruise so you may want to do a little walkin'. Forgot to mention the guys over 35 can get a FREE Prostate Cancer blood test. Oh, and those that are brave enough a DIGITAL screening also. That's digital like FINGER you now where test.... Who knows it might be a good looking female Doctor ? It has been a couple of times in the past.....

That's my story and...... DO YOU REALLY NEED TO STICK IT UP THAT FAR ??????

Hey Roger -

Great reason to go for a cruise.
I've thought about going to that outing a few times, just haven't had the chance/time. Always somethin. My poor 54 wagon seems to sit way too long between hitten the road.
And on that question...nope, back in a plane first thing tomorrow (Thursday) morning for another coupla weeks.

Hows your leg healing ?

Mike;

Sorry to hear about the quick turnaround. Just enough time to do the laundry and pay bills. Ha!!!

The leg is doing well. Still need to wear a elastic stocking to control the swelling if I intend to be up and walking a lot. Not a bad price to pay for some dumb ass thing that could have been a lot worse. I guess that in part is because I'm such a great shot and didn't hit bone or major blood vessel. Just a little nerve damage and swelling.

Hey, maybe we will get some folks to read this and we can get some activity on this site again ?

You've been there I take it.....
Exactly, pay bills, laundry AND water the front and side yard. The back yard is a desert during the summer...!

Elastic stocking my ass....tell the truth...you're wearing half of your wifes panty hose....!
Good to hear your progress in any case...
