Well some how I feel that there is a message here. Not sure here but I think the hidden meaning is that Old racers gravitate to Conestogas. Correct me if I am wrong. :P

Yes, it seems you are correct. At least for 3 of us Conestoga owners. Wait, Mike is not that old at least I don't think so? Hum? I probably would have figured this out also, if I had the patience.. Ha!!!

Old....OLD....crap, in a coupla months I be 60...

And yea, seems the older I get, my patients...well lets just say I have more of a problem with stupid people than I used to.! Sure...we all do dumb things every now and again, I'm talken really stupid stuff.
Like I just read a post on the HAMB board, The original poster was talking about problems with the tuning on his big block Chevy. Is the Edelbrock carburetor the right size because.........

Well one poster proceded to tell him how to tune his carburetor. BUT.....he was describing tuning a freaking "Holley" carb. Can you spell idiot..?

I could go on and on...

Wow maybe this means that I am the baby in the bunch here. Turned 58 this past June. If I really hurry and race maybe I can catch up? :P

Like Mike ... I am off to the Eastern U.S. I am off to the east for a week to check out the Finals of the AHDRA in Rockingham. Also some T/H Harley, Pro Extreme shootout racing in Piedmont.

O & O ....Talk to ya'all in a week.

Hum!

It figures, I'm the old fart in this trio. 67 next month. There has got to be someone else who is older and raced? Let's hear from the rest of the Conestoga Owners.

Well the Dog sled showed up and low and behold there is my 2010 copy of Turning Wheels! Very odd pic of the 54 Conestogas. Seems like the hard way to assemble one by putting the body, rad, rad saddle and grille in before the powertrain. Whatever the plan it must have worked as attested to by the almost finished units in the background. What is on the cart at left?

Would I ever love that parts room!

Yea...would'a been very cool to have had free reign to wander that place.
Actually...no it wouldn't have... I wouldn't have had the same desire, aftermarket parts, tool selection...just plain modern stuff...

SO.....where the hell is my time machine..?

As for the sequence of assembly...yea, very weird. Looks sorta like something we'd do here at home, not on an assembly line...!
