Seeking help to ID these parts

Postby Quonset6015 » 2011 Mar 13 Sun 3:42 pm

Hi there all,

I am in process of peddling off a batch of Studebaker Conestoga and station Wagon trim. Many of those pieces I was able to ID from the parts books. But i have several that I cannot exactly determine and so I am asking for those knowledgeable folks here to help if you can. I'm trying to get these parts to folks who need them!
ITEM A
Image
These two pieces seem to fit together. One iece is 26 and the other is 25-1/2 inches long; about 5/8" wide. One end is "outdented" to allow the adjacent piece to slip into it.
-------------------------
ITEM B
Image
These look like door panel connecting strips. They are both 41-1/2 inches long
-------------------------
ITEM C (two pics)
Image
Image
This piece is 40-1/2 inches long, stainless and with screw holes at 6 incj locations, it is about 1/2 x 1" and hs turned down ends
-------------------------
ITEM D (two pics)

These 3 stainless pieces are 39-1/4 inch long and still have some clips on them. I think they are for top of the door upholstery panels. They have a slight curve along the top of their length. Your thoughts please
-------------------------
ITEM E
Image
This piano type hinge is 41-1/2 inches long and about 2 inches wide; holes every 5-3/4 inches
-------------------------
ITEM F
Image
This 52 inch long piece of stainless is 3/4 wide and curved along its length. It still has 4 clips on the backside which are fitted into the channel of the stainless.
-------------------------
ITEM G (two pics)

These two pieces of trim where part of a batch of Conestoga and Station Wagon trim I acquired. I'm just not sure where they fit on a Conestoga or Station Wagon. The two pieces fit together for sure. They measure about 72± inches along their curving length. The trim is about 1-1/2 wide. They have pretty big clips that are on the backside for mounting.

Well, thanks for looking this stuff over and any help you can offer.

Henry...What ever happened to that taillight that you pulled off of Ebay when there were muliple bids on it?

Piano hinge is for front of spare tire well cover

Item C is rear of same well cover

Hi Al,

I had to pull it off because I had the wrong picture on it and could not let that pic misrepresent the item thru to a sale; it had not met reserve yet, changing the picture or adding to the description was not going to be sufficient notice to interested bidders.

I'll be relisting many of those parts later this month again. Waiting on the change in eBay listing fees to happen later this month.

Thanks for the ID help on those two items. . . .much appreciated.

My Guess;

Just not 100% sure, more like 98%.

( B ) Above center line of door, trim to separate 2 different colors of upholstery.

( D ) Correct.

( G ) Windshield trim.

C looks alot like the top of the rear seat back, but looks too short. Could be the spare well cover trim as stated earlier
.
