Ambulet Out and About

I had my Ambulet out two weeks ago at the Professional Car Society International Meet in Rochester, MN (the car's home state). Great time, took a 3rd Place (based on points) plaque home with me.

I trailered it to MN. The brakes were not working well when I drove it. I had to drive to the show field, and I blew right past the entrance. Fortunately, it was uphill, so I rolled back down to the spot to make the turn. I didn't hit anything. A friend was able to bleed the air out of the brake lines and now it's OK. Guess that's what happens when ya don't drive it for a few years!

Cool. Did you have the oldest car there ?
Good to see it out running again, and you posting about it here.

Oh, by all means I did not have the oldest vehicle at the PCS meet. There was a horse-drawn hearse from 1894.

But interestingly, the oldest motorized vehicle there was another Studebaker, a 1915 Studebaker with hearse body by Northwestern Casket Co. It has been in MN all it's life.

That's VERY cool...! Looks like something that would have been on the Munsters (TV show).
Thanks for the picture.

Hows the weather been over there in the Mt. Airy area?
