Try this one on for size !!!

Going to look at a 54 C or K (forgot to ask!) bodied car this weekend.

Easy enough right?

IF....it looks good...and I buy the thing, get it home, get it running....I may have a plan !!

See it comming....?

Rather than put the Conestoga I have back together.....
Remove the entire sides/top...from the upper belt line up from the wagon....
Remove the top, deck lid, rear filler, etc from the coupe.....

Weld the wagon top onto the C/K body, remove that tall top center piece and put the shorter Lark top/center on it.

Then I'd have a sectioned, semi-chopped...C/Conestoga wagon....all made with original Stude parts.

Bad part of this whole thing....I know a body guy that loves semi-custom stuff like this!

Can I still be part of the club with a car like this?

P.S. - I'd be cutting up the parts car wagon !!

Mike...Sounds much easier if you say it fast. That is a real undertaking. That would be some awesome Studeyfied custom! 8) Please keep us posted on progress....Al

A Firebaker...hmmm

I guess that sounds better than a 'Studebird'

Well...after thinking for a looong time about a THIRD project car.

Common sense won out over desire!

No new projec cars untill at least one is a little more complete!

Briz...that's pretty interesting looking Studebird. Looks like a bit of body work there too.

You need to take the FIREBAKER to the INTERNATIONAL MEET next year in South Bend.
That is awesome.
If you go to South Bend than I can see the car in person.
