hell yea! i'm all for it! ebay team work is a great idea.

right now i'm trying to get this conestoga ad (#7225058462) FOR OUR SITE
an addition to the archives. somebody named seshore53 just out bid me. but i have two more days. gerrrrrr...

what about the snipers?

I agree with all of the above, but I am a sniper and I just punch in my high limit and then it all happens at (literally) the last second. You won't even see my moniker til the fat lady's singing.

I usually don't bid on things unless I really need them though, and I'll respect our fellow wagon owner's bids and sit it out.

Mmmm...yea...all I need is "another" project...!
Got three now. I really woulda been happier with another 54, but the 55 for a street car's gonna have to do. How's your's running?

Jeff -
Sorry to hear about your problems.
One favor...could you let us here know you have or are gonna put things up for sale so we have a chance to help out and to sorta...keep it in the family?
Let us know if we can help out.

yea, this is here for the use of us studebaker conestoga owners to do with as we see fit
anything that benefits ours conestogas is cool with me!
(as long as e-bay don't try to shut us down or something)

and yea, when these parts come up, maybe in some cases, the new owner would give up the old part that is being replaced to a good home

let'r rip!

Thanks for all the good wishes.

I tried to give y'all a heads up, but I hit save instead of post, so it never made it. The wagon didn't sell. I will offer it in the future, so if anyone wants to give me an offer, then fire away. It is still "on the market".

I was hoping to get around $2000 for it. It starts, runs, drives, and stops. I put a battery, radiator, starter, and brakes on it. It will need some wiring work and a good going over, but could be a nice daily driver with a little TLC.

I was hoping someone would keep it original, but after the sale, I'll not have any sway of what the new owner will do to it. I already failed to return a call to a local Stude enthusiast (owns a coupla Studes already) who told me he wants to build a hotrod out of it. My finances have settled a bit for now, so it's been spared parting out, but, for how long?

If anyone would like to talk about it, or see some detailed pics, please contact me at Conestogaman@yahoo.com or call me 916.335.5784

Thanks again,

Jeff
