Obviously, it was on the car when it was delivered to it's original owner. But I got the factory order sheet for my car from the National Museum - the Ambulet options are there but the visor is not on the factory order. So I assume it was a dealer-installed item, which was pretty common. Fortunately, the visor was still on the car when I bought it.
