This is a 55 Conestoga I recently acquired. Its pretty much stock with the exception of a lowering job and the wheels. Its a V8 with three speed OD and it still works fine. THe wheels are 18x7 and 20x8 AMerican Racing Torq Thrust II's with 225/40 and 245/40 NItto 555 Tires.

Very nice car...
While I'm not a fan of big wheels, those aren't too...bad...as big wheels go.
Looks great lowered also, just the right amount.
Now ya gotta fill those wheels up with some disc brakes..

Thanks Mike, I am probably going to leave it as is for the rest of this season at least. If I keep it, it will probably get 12v, air ride, triangulated four link and brakes. We are taking it to a big show in a few weeks and I didn't want to have it parked for the weekend.

Damn....That is a great looking find! I like the wheels a bunch more than the caps although I would like em better with a little more rubber on them. That is not a cricism just my taste. What did you do to lower it ? You will stun them at your meet!
