Finally got time to fiddle with the Conestoga again. looked at different solutions to refit doorhandles coz the guys from technical inspection won,t accept it in Holland or Belgium. It,s notvery practical either; when hot the rubbers stick and the doors won't pop open. When cold/freezing: same thing. Looked complicated at first coz the
part that used to be on the Bpost is on the door and vice-cersa. But my chief mechanic pointed out the obvious and simple solution. Only fit a lockable handle and install a microswitch inside the door that will activate the elctric release system. BINGO!
